Go heavy on the towers I all ways place at least two large square towers with ballistas on them, and building a wall out of towers is never a bad idea. Latter you can destroy buildings and move walls to expand it. Keep your castle small, including just your main buildings Inns, Breweries, Granaries, Armory, and Barracks, ect. You can raise taxes to -8 wail you still have the starting bread. Building Inns and Breweries early is a great way to keep a large population happy with out feeding them.
Use the pause function find the building you want to place then un pause, place it then pause the game again for the next building “think before you build”Ĥ. Any time after you build a store you can Double click on it or the stockpile then hit the “P” key to pause the game and buy and sell your goods. Some people don’t know you can slow the game speed down, setting it to 20 the lowest setting well help you keep pace with the computer AI. Most of this will work with Crusader, if you have not completed it I urge you to play it first.ġ. Hopefully others can help me out here by post their tips as well. Since I keep hearing a lot of people saying they find Crusader Extreme, too Extreme I though I would post some strategies I used in beating the 20 trail.
